Coping with Trade Union
About Workshop

The Govt. of Bangladesh, through a recent notification, has relaxed some restrictions on Trade Union activities after the next general election all restrictions will be with drawn and our Labour leaders will re-start their old activities causing serious production loss besides undermining the law and order situation in our factories/ offices/ establishments etc.

So our employers must prepare themselves well advance to face that situation by allowing their Mangers/ Officers to get training in this field

Workshop Objective:
  •   Most of Our Managers/Officers working in HR, Administration, Security and other Department have inadequate knowledge about trade union. Some of them are of opinion that these leaders ‘can do anything they like and they are above law'. So they are afraid of these leaders.
  • They are wrong. These leaders are just like other workers and they will have to work along with others to get their wages at the end of the month or the management will take action against them following the provisions of Bangladesh Labour Act, 2006.
